Brazos Bend Engagement Session | Houston, Tx

Bryce and Haley met three years ago when she moved to Houston to work with Dow Chemical. He is an operator, she is an engineer. Bryce convinced her to play on their plant’s softball team (Haley says she was awfully terrible) and then a mutual friend helped play match-maker! Fast forward to November of last year. They were hiking at Old Tunnel State Park and after taking some photos together, Bryce told her to take some pictures of the tunnel. After a few moments he called her name and she turned around to see the best view of the day. Bryce was down on one knee ready to ask her the most important question of her life! And of course, she said, “YES!”

Haley and Bryce were such champs during their engagement session! They braved the heat, ants, and alligators (yes, alligators!) to get these gorgeous photos and I gotta say, it paid off big time! Brazos Bend is such a gorgeous park. I just can’t get enough of this tree! It’s such unique setting for portraits! And even though the tree had some huge ants crawling around, Haley hopped up and even took her shoes off for the most magical photos! (Don’t worry, we swatted those pesky ants away!)

But the adventure didn’t stop there. We headed down to the dock for the end of the session and there was a massive alligator just hanging out a few feet away! For the most part, it never even moved but it was crazy to think it was so close the whole time! These guys definitely win the most amazing couple award!
