Spring Hermann Park Engagement Session | Houston, Tx

Hayley and Reid have known each other for years. Hayley’s dad used to live in Texas and grew up with Reid’s parents, so they have always been around each other. They reconnected when Hayley was a senior in high school. They dated a few times but ended up breaking it off because of the distance between them. It wasn’t until November of 2017 that they started dating again, and this time… it was a much different story! Fast forward to December of 2018. Hayley and Reid went to the Zoo Lights where they had their very first date. They were walking around under all the pretty, twinkly lights when Reid got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. It was such a romantic moment!

We just love these two! They absolutely love making each other laugh, and in turn, they make everyone else around them laugh! I’m pretty sure we laughed the entire session. Their joy is infectious! When Hayley and Reid started looking for wedding venues, their first stop was The Farmhouse. As soon as they walked onto the property, they knew it was the perfect place to get married! It’s such a gorgeous venue (it’s my favorite venue in Houston!). Hayley and Reid could just picture themselves in the chapel saying their vows and then taking sunset portraits outside. Just thinking about it makes me so excited to photograph their wedding!

While we were photographing Hayley and Reid, we discovered that Reid’s grandfather helped create the building for the Bellaire church of Christ which is where Michael and I attend worship. How amazing is that?! I just love all these connections we find with our couples on the engagement session. Hayley and Reid, we just love you guys, and we can’t wait for your wedding!
