A Challenger Park Engagement Session

This is such a special blog post!  Haylie is my principal’s daughter and I am beyond honored to be shooting her wedding next year!  Almost as soon as Haylie became engaged to Nick, I got a text from Xan (my principal) asking about doing their photos and we were elated!  Haylie and Nick have the best meeting story.  These two met on a cruise ship! They were both on cruises with their own families and ended up meeting while dancing one night.  The rest is history!

Not long after they began dating, they brought the most precious chocolate lab named, Remi! They brought her along for some photos and I gotta say…for a one year old lab, she was extremely well behaved! Haylie has done an amazing job training her.

Haylie and Nick are such a joyful couple.  I think we laughed almost the entire session!  Nick has such a great way of making Haylie laugh and it’s so perfect!  She has the best smile!  We met up with them at the Challenger 7 Memorial Park and we couldn’t have picked a more perfect location!  How have I lived so close to this park and completely forgotten about it the past 5 or 6 years?! I’ve been missing out on all this Spanish Moss gorgeousness that was practically in my backyard!
