A Brazos Bend Engagement Session

Meet Meghan and Cesar!! These two met in high school and have been together ever since. They’re high school sweethearts who started dating the end of their senior year. They even went to their senior prom together! Now they’re planning their wedding day on what will be their 10 year dating anniversary. I just love that!

Meghan lives in Oklahoma and is working on her PhD at Oklahoma State University. She drove in the for the week for some wedding planning and for their engagement photos! We met up at Brazos Bend State Park and photographed around, under and IN my favorite tree! This tree really is amazing. When you see it in person, it’s hard not to just stand there and stare at it! When the sun is out, the light is just so perfect and so glowy…which is exactly what we had during their session!

You know you have amazing clients when they’re willing to do just about anything for great photos…including climbing up and sitting in a tree with carpenter ants crawling around everywhere!! I am just so amazed at Meghan’s poise knowing that there were critters crawling right below her leg. I don’t think I could have managed to look quite as relaxed and gorgeous and she did! 

Meghan and Cesar are the sweetest couple. Michael and I had an absolute blast with them during their session! When we met them online for a virtual client meeting, we clicked instantly! They told us all about their story of how they met in high school and then how they got engaged during a hiking trip in Colorado! These are my favorite kinds of clients…the ones that share all about themselves and want to create a genuine, personal relationship with us. In our business, our clients become our friends and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
