This is officially the most colorful blog post to date! I’ve known Megan for several years now.  We met at the University of Houston (Go Coogs!) and were in band together and some of the same classes together.  Megan and Jonathan are perfect together!  They are both band directors and share so many of the same passions.  Jonathan knows exactly how to make her laugh and it’s perfect!  At one point I told him to whisper something in her ear to make her laugh and she couldn’t stop laughing! It was so great!  

When we met up with them a couple of months ago, Megan mentioned that she wanted something colorful and something outdoors for their engagement pictures.  I think we nailed this one on the head!  There’s a new location in Houston that we’ve recently discovered called the Sugar and Cloth Color Wall and I’ve been dying to shoot there!  Megan made my little dream come true on Saturday.  I was in photographers heaven!  Not only did I get to shoot at this new super cool color wall, but I got to go back to my other favorite location, North Boulevard.  Two dream locations in one day?? Stop it!

Megan has the sweetest smile.  Her love for Jonathan just shines in these photos!  She glows every time she looks at him!  It’s so wonderful to be around people who are in love and about to get married.  Their joy is contagious!  We all laughed and had so much fun!  Did I mention that there were squawking birds and high school graduates taking twerking photos by us during our session?? That might of had something to do with the laughing.  

Megan and Jonathan, you guys are amazing! I can’t wait for your wedding in December! Enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session!
