As the wind blew through the trees, he gently stroked her hair away from her radiant eyes. He held her close. Meagan was beaming and could hardly contain her joy! As they held hands, they walked as though they were the only ones in the vast open field. The light was perfect. It glowed through the tree branches and left the most golden glow around them. But that glow didn’t compare to the one in Meagan’s eyes as she gazed at her soon to be husband.

When these guys met at a high school devotional, they had no idea they’d spend the next six years and three months dating. All it took was a cute dog waving from a car window for Travis to say, “Hey, did you see that dog??” The rest, my friends, is history. Back in December, Travis took her out to a nice Italian restaurant for an anniversary date. What she didn’t know was that all of her friends and family were gathering back at her house. They lined the sidewalk with photo collages of their favorite memories every year they had been together. The next thing Meagan knew, Travis was down on one knee asking her to marry him. To be his wife, forever. And of course, she said, “yes!”.

We absolutely loved getting to spend time with Travis and Meagan. They are exactly what we describe as “dream clients!” These guys hiked through not one, but two big fields with tall grass to get gorgeous portraits with the most dreamy sunset glow. And it was so worth it! Michael and I are so blessed to get to work with so many amazing couples. Travis, we love how you take care of Meagan and how you made sure her hair looked perfect during your engagement session. Meagan, you are gorgeous! You have the best smile and the most beautiful eyes (and we’re pretty sure Travis would agree with that!). The joy you two share is so wonderful and so contagious. We can’t wait for your wedding in October!
