Lyssa and Jacob are two people you will instantly fall in love with!  On Sunday, we met them at Hermann Park where they had their very first date 9 years ago! That is so amazing to me! We loved getting to spend time with these two.  Michael and I both know Lyssa and Jacob from the University of Houston and it’s so awesome to be photographing this part of their lives!

Leading up to their session, I had been watching the radar like a hawk! It was raining here and there and I was fearful of their session getting rained out.  Thankfully, the rain held off and the weather was perfect! The early rain made it feel cool outside and the cloudy sky made the colors pop! Hermann Park has the most beautiful rose garden and it was in full bloom!  Lyssa mentioned wanting fountains, flowers and greenery in her pictures and she got just that!  There’s a new fountain structure in Hermann Park and how we got a full vertical shot with no people in the background is still a mystery to me!
