Hermann Park Engagement Session

Meet Kaitlyn and Clayton! I say it all the time, and I’ll say it again. We have the best clients!! Leading up to their session, I had been keeping an eye on the forecast, and everything seemed good to go! But of course, an hour before their session, a storm popped up and was headed straight to our shooting location. Driving to their session, things were not looking so good, and Michael and I were trying to decide if we should reschedule. But, the closer we got to the park, the better the sky started to look, and I was hopeful!

It was border-line raining, and we knew that we were taking a big risk still following through with their engagement session despite the weather.  At one point, Michael pulled up the radar and the storm was literally all around us. But Kaitlyn and Clayton were SO wonderful. They had the best attitudes. They embraced the situation and rolled with the punches! We ended up having a wonderful session, and it only started to sprinkle right at the end! I’m still amazed we didn’t have to run from a downpour!

Kaitlyn and Clayton met online back when they were in high school. Kaitlyn’s sister put her photo up on a dating website, and Clayton liked what he saw! He sent her a message, and they’ve been together ever since! After seven years of dating, they got engaged! They went to the Galleria for a nice dinner and then, to the Water Wall afterwards to take photos, which, unbeknownst to Kaitlyn, was the perfect place for their proposal! Clayton got down on one knee and asked her the most important question of her life with a massive waterfall wall behind them. It was the perfect romantic setting! Now, these two are planning the most amazing destination wedding in Grenada!!
