Houston Engagement Session

The oak trees spiraled and branched out all around them. It was as though we stepped into the pages of a novel or were standing in the middle of Narnia. The sunlight peeked through the clouds and made Stephanie’s hair glow. Such sunlight had not been seen all day as it had been raining and overcast all morning. It was perfect. As the wind gently blew Stephanie’s blond curls over her shoulder, Josh pulled her in close. He whispered in her ear and Stephanie could not help but be so in love.

Josh and Stephanie met in high school. For several years, Josh asked her out, but she always declined. So after graduation, they parted ways and went to college. He went to Pepperdine. She went to UT. Every time Josh came back home on a break, he would ask her out. He knew that Stephanie was the perfect girl for him, and he persisted. She was everything he was looking for. Finally, after years of pursuing, he made her a deal: “If you go out with me, and don’t have a good time,  I’ll stop asking.” So, Stephanie agreed and had a blast! It was the best date she had ever been on. She thought to herself, “Why didn’t I say yes sooner?!”

Fast forward to October 28th. Josh mentioned that he had tickets to a private event at the Menil. Stephanie loved the trees in this area so they arrived early and walked the grounds before the event was supposed to start. Little did Stephanie know, it was the perfect place for Josh to get down on one knee and ask her to marry him. And to make things even better, that same week, Josh found out he passed the bar exam. It was truly the perfect week!

Josh and Stephanie, you guys are amazing.  The time we spent with you at your engagement session was so fun and so joyful! The love and the joy you share together is so sweet. Josh, we love how you make Stephanie laugh, the way you look at her, and how you knew years ago that she was the only one for you. Stephanie, you are gorgeous. In a street full of magical oak trees, you stood out. Your heart is so full and so warm that anyone who talks with you knows you are the most caring and sweetest person.
