When we first decide if we’re a good fit with our potential couples, we’re looking for a few things….one of those things is that this couple is joyful and wants to create a personal relationship with us! We’ve found over the years that couples that take themselves super seriously or just wants us to hand over the photos and be done aren’t always the best fit for us. We love it when couples let their guard down and allow us to get to know them during their engagement session!

As soon as Jessica emailed me, I knew she was going to be amazing to work with! Jessica and John are down to earth, easy to talk to, fun to be around and you can just tell that they are so excited to start their new life together!  In Jessica’s first email to me, she shared their story about how they met, how they got engaged, how they’re planning a dreamy wedding at Ashton Gardens full of greenery and white roses…it was perfect! Jessica said when she was emailing me, she felt like she already knew me and was just chatting with a friend…even though we’d never met. I just love that!!

Jessica and John met a couple of years ago on Bumble. They hit it off immediately! Jessica describes him as “the calm to her storm” and “someone who keeps her level headed most of the time”. Fast forward to December of 2020. They were decorating their Christmas tree (which is one of Jessica’s favorite things to do!) when he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. It was truly the perfect moment!

Their session could not have happened at a more perfect time. We ended up having to reschedule twice due to rain, but it was a blessing in disguise! The weather was amazing and even though it was overcast, the light was soft and beautiful. Jessica and John, enjoy scrolling through these few favorites from your engagement session!
