We’ve been in the business for five years now and in the last year, we have been published in Weddings in Houston Magazine, Southern Bride Magazine, and have been featured online with Something Turquoise, Cake & Lace, and Zola! Of course we couldn’t have done this without our amazing brides and their vendors!

Michael and I feel so blessed to have been featured in two magazines in less than a year. But, getting in a magazine doesn’t just happen by chance. Magazines don’t just look around on Facebook or Instagram for beautiful weddings to feature…you have to submit to them. You have to do the work of sending them photos, the names of the vendors and their business information, the story of the wedding day, and you have to email the editors! Getting featured takes some work but the end result is so worth it! The feeling we get from sharing the exciting news with our brides is priceless. And we know our brides are on top of the world because I used to be that bride! It’s such a special gift we get to give our clients.

After submitting and being accepted (and rejected!), I’ve learned what does and doesn’t work when it comes to getting featured. It’s no secret that getting featured is very competitive. There are literally hundreds, if not thousands, of photographers fighting for the same feature spot you are! I’ve put together a twenty page free download full of everything I know about how to get featured! This is in no way a comprehensive guide on how to get featured or even the right way to do it; it’s just what I’ve come to learn!
