An Agave Estates Wedding

Trisha and David are married!! When we walked into their venue, we felt like we were transported out of Houston and into the middle of a hacienda in Mexico. It was full of all the destination vibes! Trisha and David fell in love with Agave Estates from the moment they saw it. It reminded Trisha of her grandmother and with all the succulents and plants everywhere, it was a piece of Trisha’s heart and personality. 

Agave Estates is such a unique and beautiful venue. The terra-cotta walls and hanging lights made for the most beautiful portraits! And when the sun started to set, the light sparkled through the palm trees giving us the most glowy light! I could have photographed Trisha and David’s sunset portraits forever! When Trisha told me their wedding colors, she described them as “desert sunset” colors. I think they totally nailed it! The terra-cotta, blush and soft purples were the perfect mix and complimented Agave Estates so well! Everything was so beautiful..including the flowers that were all put together by Dori, the mother of the groom! I was just amazed at her talent!

We fell in love with Trisha and David at their engagement session. We love getting to know our couples during these sessions…like how they have been together for 10 years and were getting married on Memorial Day weekend, the same weekend David proposed four years ago. It was like coming full circle on their wedding day! Trisha and David are two of the most kindhearted people you’ll ever meet. Photographing their wedding day was such a sweet honor knowing how long they’ve been waiting for this day. Seeing the joy on their faces knowing it was finally here was priceless.
