A Springtime Hermann Park Engagement Session

Meet Trish and David!! These two are just about the sweetest couple you’ll ever meet. I always love watching how our couples interact together to learn how to pose them naturally. One thing I learned about Trish and David during their session, is that everyday, when Trish comes home from work, she walks up behind David and gives him a big hug from behind. So of course, we had to incorporate it into their photos! We officially coined it, the “Trish and David” pose. Now, on their wedding day, I’ll just tell them to do the Trish and David pose and they’ll know exactly what I mean! 

When we first met Trish and David on Zoom, we knew we would be such a great fit. Our personalities meshed so well together and we realized that we all had the number 10 in common. They will be getting married on the 10th anniversary of having met each other, and Michael and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary this year! There are also some other 10 year significances happening this year among their family members..so much so that we couldn’t believe the irony!

Trish and David have a tough task…being in a relationship at work without anyone knowing! They work together but none of their coworkers know that they are together (except for her boss!) so, shhhhh! Don’t tell! 🙂 David joined the company where Trish works just a few months ago and they have loved getting to work together. I can definitely relate because I love working with Michael! It’s a pretty unique and sweet thing getting to work with your spouse.

Four years ago, on Memorial Day, David surprised Trish with the sweetest proposal in their apartment. They almost eloped in Vegas last year but decided to hold out and plan a wedding together for this May. I’m personally glad they waited because now we get to be a part of their wedding day! When they were touring venues in Houston, they fell in love with Agave Estates. They loved the colors and the landscaping plus, it has a hacienda feel which is so fitting since Trish’s mom’s side of the family is from Mexico. Trish specifically said that the venue reminded her of her grandmother which made it all the sweeter.
