A Springs at Wallisville Engagement Session

I have photographed at the Springs in Wallisville several times for weddings and bridal portraits, but this was my first time shooting an engagement session there and I gotta say…I loved it! Austin and Andrea are getting married here next May and when they asked me to take their engagement photos here, I was really looking forward to it! It was so fun getting to explore and view their venue from a different angle. There are so many beautiful portrait locations here, including the parking lot and the side of the road! Hah!

When we got out of our cars and started chatting, I could not help but notice the beautiful trees, fence and lighting right behind them. That’s where we started our session! Some of my favorite portraits from their session were taken here and on the side of the road!

Austin and Andrea met online back in January of 2023. They clicked instantly and spoke for hours on the phone at a time. Fast forward to June. They were hiking in the mountains overlooking Ouray, Colorado when Austin asked her to be his wife. It was such a beautiful moment! Two weeks later, we were meeting on Zoom about photographing their wedding day!

On the morning we were going to take their engagement photos, it was gloomy and pouring down rain and I was getting a little concerned! But then the sun came out and we had the most beautiful, glowy light for their session! Austin and Andrea were such a joy to work with.  I have so many favorites from their session!
