A Hermann Park Engagement Session

Meet Delia and Woodrow! Today is a special day for them because not only is it their blog post day, but they are getting married exactly one year from today!

Delia and Woodrow met while attending college during their undergraduate years. They began dating in 2010 and have been together for twelve years now! After dating for a couple of years, they moved to Houston to attend Law School together. Now they are both licensed attorneys!

When Woodrow was getting ready to propose to Delia, he had the perfect ring in mind. He designed Delia’s ring himself which consisted of two bands that attach to the engagement ring to create a three ring set! It is so unique and so beautiful! I was just in awe that Woodrow had designed Delia’s ring himself. That is so special!

On the day he proposed, Woodrow and Delia were out walking their chocolate lab, Khaleesi at the park. They stopped at a field of wildflowers to take a photo together when Woodrow got down on one knee and asked Delia to marry him! She was completely surprised! She, of course, said yes and now they’re planning the perfect destination wedding together.

One of Delia and Woodrow’s favorite things to do is visit Puerto Vallarta. It’s their special place! They’re always on the look out for good deals on flights and when they see one, they can’t help but jump on it! They love traveling together but always keep coming back to Puerto Vallarta. They love it so much they decided it was the perfect place to tie the knot! In exactly one year from today, they’ll be surrounded with their closest friends and family in Puerto Vallarta where they will finally become husband and wife.

We met up at Hermann Park for their engagement session and it could not have been a more perfect day! It seemed like every time I checked the forecast, it was always different. One day it was predicted to rain, one day it was overcast, but on the day of their session, the skies opened up and it was a perfectly cloudless day! They brought along their chocolate lab and I have to say, she was one of the most well behaved dogs I’ve ever seen! She was so good at sitting for photos and not running off.
