Meet Pam and Andrew! They met back in 2017 but it wasn’t until five years later in 2022 that they would reconnect and romance would kindle. 

 

We met them down in Galveston at the Grand Galvez Hotel and you guys…it was amazing! I had a hard time stopping myself from taking their pictures all night long! Hah! This location photographed like a dream!! The sky was overcast which actually worked out in our favor. The colors were vibrant and we had beautiful, soft light everywhere. It looked and felt like we were in Florida! It was my first time photographing here and I already cannot wait to come back! 

 

The Grand Galvez plays such a sweet part in their story…they were staying here the weekend they got engaged! Pam and Andrew both love beach days in Galveston so he wanted to propose to her there. However, on the night Andrew wanted to propose, it was pouring rain. They went to Waterman’s Restaurant for dinner and low and behold, the sky cleared and everything went quiet. Even the water was as smooth as glass. The sun came out and they were treated to a fiery sunset. That’s when Andrew got down on one knee and asked Pam to marry him. It was truly the perfect moment! 

 

After we took photos at the Grand Galvez, we crossed the street and walked down onto the beach for the last part of their session. Pam even wore the dress she was wearing when Andrew proposed! I love how much they incorporated their story into their photos!
