Hi there! I'm Joanna Krueger and my husband Michael and I are a wedding photography team in Houston, TX. We hope you enjoy viewing our latest work and getting a peek into our lives!
Introducing the new Mr. & Mrs. Balderach! Jessica and John’s wedding day was the perfect way to end our 2021 wedding season! It rained almost all day but these two absolutely did not care. Jessica was beaming with joy all day! A hurricane could have blown through and she still would have a huge smile on her face. The day they had been dreaming of and planning for so long was finally here!
We fell in love with these two at their engagement session, and just as we suspected, they have been an absolute dream to work with! Jessica is one of the most selfless, sweetest brides. Her laughter is infectious and you just can’t help but feel happy when you’re around her!Â
The morning of their wedding, a strong cold front came through Houston and left lingering rain showers for most of the day. We moved their first look and portraits inside the chapel while Michael kept a lookout on the weather, looking (and hoping) for a window of opportunity to go outside.
We had just wrapped up bridal party portraits when Michael came in and said it had stopped raining! We took Jessica and John outside and had a few minutes to grab some portraits in front of the beautiful chapel door before it began to rain again. But after the ceremony, all the rain had passed and we were able to get even more portraits outside in the courtyard! I was so excited about this because Jessica was hoping to get some portraits in this spot! She fell in love with this side courtyard during her bridal portraits (which are coming to the blog next week!!)
I always love to see how our clients incorporate personal touches throughout their day. Jessica had a necklace with her late father’s engraved fingerprint which she had pinned on her bouquet. She placed it right where her own thumb would hold the bouquet so her father could walk her down the aisle. Jessica even had a bouquet with one of his ties wrapped around the stems on the pew beside her mother. When it came time for the parent dances, Jessica started out dancing with her mom but about halfway through, all of her bridesmaids and their own mothers came out and joined them. It was such a sweet moment!Â
Jessica and John, you are both beautiful people inside and out. We have absolutely loved being a part of this journey with you and we can’t wait to see where life takes you! You told us we felt like new family to you and we couldn’t agree more. Being your photographers has been such a blessing! Enjoy reliving your amazing wedding day before you fly out on your dream honeymoon!!
