Texas A&M University Engagement Session | College Station, TX

Meet Meagan and Richard! These two met back in 2015 at a Halloween party of all places! Meagan is not one to dress up or be into Halloween and she’s especially not one for going to a party where she knew nobody! But something inside her made her go that night… and that’s where her life changed forever. She met Richard that night. Meagan never dreamed anything would come out of going to this party which only shows that everything happens for reason!

Meagan travels a lot for her job, especially to Europe! Back in August, Meagan was going on a work trip to Europe and thought it would be fun for Richard to come as well! But unbeknownst to Meagan, Richard had something even greater planned up his sleeve. He had secretly met up with her dad and asked his permission to marry his daughter. So, ring in hand, Richard flew to Amsterdam to meet up with Meagan and they spent the week touring Amsterdam, Brussels, Berlin and Cologne together. While they were in Cologne, they walked across the love lock bridge and Richard pulled out a lock…with a ring on it. He got down on one knee and asked Meagan to marry him! She was completely shocked! It was the perfect moment and the perfect place to start the next chapter of their life together.

Meagan and Richard are both graduates from Texas A&M! When Meagan was describing the location she had in mind for their pictures, it became clear that the A&M campus was the perfect place! We met up with them at the Century Tree and from there we made our way to the Military Walk and then the Admin Building. The Admin Building is officially my new favorite place to photograph! It’s a photographers dream!! The light just bounces everywhere and It looks like you’re back in the middle of Europe!
