Hermann Park Engagement Session | Houston, TX

I first met Rachel years ago when I was probably in middle school. My family and I were passing through Amarillo on a family vacation and we stopped to worship at the church where she and her family attend. A few years later, her sister and my sister ended up being roommates in college and I got to know Rachel even more. Then a few years after that, Rachel and I worshipped together at the Southside Church of Christ and we developed and even deeper friendship. We roomed together during my last year of college and when Michael and I got married, she was one of my bridesmaids. And now she’s a BRIDE!! So, to say I was excited to be photographing her and Ed’s engagement session is the understatement of the year!

I just love these two!  The entire time I’ve known Rachel, I’ve known Ed. They’ve been together since their high school days and now they’re getting married this June!! We could not be more excited for them! Ed is just the sweetest. He absolutely adores Rachel and he makes her so unbelievably happy! Rachel was always the happiest when she was with Ed and now that they’re engaged… I don’t think I’ve ever seen her this happy!! It definitely made for a fun and joyful evening. I’m pretty sure we laughed just about the entire time!

We could not have had a more perfect day for their engagement session. We had the most beautiful light the entire session. I feel like this Spring has been so overcast so the fact that we had some gorgeous sunset glow made my photographer heart SO happy! I seriously could have photographed these two all day long. They made my job so easy because they’re so excited for this next chapter of their lives! Rachel and Ed, thank you so much for giving us the honor of photographing your engagement session.
