An Eleanor Tinsley Park Engagement Session

It’s always a little bit of a challenge to take engagement photos in the middle of summer. Anytime that we’re shooting in the summer, I’m always praying for a little relief from the heat. It’s HOT in Texas! Eleanor Tinsley Park turned out beautifully for Paulina and Justin, and every now and then, there was an amazing breeze that broke up the intense summer heat!! Paulina and Justin are just incredible. They didn’t let the heat (or the sweat!) get in the way of their portraits, and they totally rocked their session!! It was a fun evening capturing this exciting new season in Paulina and Justin’s lives, but it was also so great just getting to know them even better.

Even though the summer has some high temperatures, it also has the most beautiful light…especially at Eleanor Tinsley! Their entire session was filled with gorgeous, glowy light, and my little photographer heart was loving every minute of it!

Paulina and Justin met over the July 4th weekend back in 2018…so almost exactly three years ago! They were both at the same bar in Houston (Handlebar) and had no idea their future spouse was in the same room. Fast forward to March of this year. Justin took her to Beachtown in Galveston, and they walked out onto the beach together. After they had walked along the beach for a little bit, Justin got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. It was the perfect moment!

These two haven’t been engaged very long, and their whole wedding is basically already planned! Amazing!!! Michael and I are looking forward to spending the day serving these two and their families at their wedding in November! Enjoy scrolling through some of my favorites from their engagement session!!
