McGovern Centennial Gardens Engagement Session | Houston, TX

Meet Morgan and Kevin!! Y’all, these two deserve a trophy. Seriously! They endured incredible heat during their engagement session and somehow still managed to look amazing! It felt like 100 degrees outside, but you would never know looking at their photos. We met up with them at McGovern Centennial Gardens in the center of Houston. This park is so pretty! For one, it has gorgeous light, and the dirt pathways reflect the light back onto your couple giving them the most beautiful glow! It really is a photographers dream location! 

One of my favorite things about my job is getting to meet new people. We met Morgan and Kevin at their engagement session, and we just fell in love with them! These two are the sweetest. Morgan and Kevin met years ago when they were about 12 years old. They were best friends for the longest time and began dating during their senior year of high school. Then, a little over a year ago, their life got even sweeter when their baby girl was born! Now they’re planning a beautiful wedding while raising their precious daughter!

It may have been incredibly hot during their session, but it was SO worth it! I mean, just look at this light! I told them it reminded me so much of our own wedding. Michael and I got married *outside* in July. It was 94 degrees on our wedding day but it was so worth it because our wedding pictures are beautiful! And now, Morgan and Kevin have beautiful engagement photos and a memory they’ll never forget!
