A North Boulevard Engagement Session

They met through a mutual friend.  Joel heard a lot of amazing things about Micah, and he knew he had to meet her. After about three weeks of talking on the phone, he drove to Dallas to meet her in person.  After dating for eight months, Joel made a surprise trip back to Dallas and took her to Emporium Pies for a date. Little did Micah know, her life was about to change forever!

Joel gave her a photo album full of pictures from the day they met to all the things they had done together up to that point.  But then Micah turned to the last page. There, on the very last page, was a picture of an engagement ring. Micah’s engagement ring. The next thing she knew, Joel was down on one knee asking her to marry him.  To be his wife forever. And of course, she said, yes!!

One of the first things Micah told me in her emails was that she loves pictures! She’s a girl after my own heart.  Micah and Joel love oak trees! When I told Micah about North Boulevard, she knew they had to have photos taken there! I never get tired of looking at these oak trees.  It’s such a magical, hidden gem in the middle of Houston! When Micah was emailing me about their engagement photos, she said she really wanted to incorporate tennis into their photos! Both Micah and Joel love sports.  Micah is a tennis player and Joel coaches everything under the sun (according to Micah). Micah and Joel, we absolutely loved getting to know you guys! You were so much fun to photograph! We can’t wait for your wedding!
