Meet Katie and Matt!! We actually met Katie a few years ago! She was a bridesmaid at a wedding we photographed and now she’s a bride!!!

Katie and Matt were actually setup by Katie’s brother. Matt is the cousin of her brother’s girlfriend and they insisted that they meet! They knew that Matt and Katie would be perfect for each other. They met for the first time in September of 2020 and by December, they were engaged! Matt went to school at Texas A&M and took Katie to the beautiful century tree on campus. Once there, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!

I am just so impressed with Katie and Matt. First of all, throughout their entire session, Matt was so polite and always responded with a “yes ma’am!” He looked out for Katie’s hair and outfits making sure she always looked picture perfect. It was so sweet! And not to mention, he was SO nice when I started their session off by accidently calling him the wrong name. Hah!

When we met with them on Zoom, they had only been engaged about a month but had already planned a good portion of their wedding! And just a couple months later at their engagement session, they basically had their entire wedding planned! Even with her busy nursing schedule and moving. That is just amazing to me! These two are so excited to be getting married!

We absolutely loved photographing Katie and Matt. Katie, you are absolutely gorgeous and such a joy to be around!
