Meet Aliana and Dan! They met on a dating app and as fate would have it, the day they noticed eachother was a day out of the ordinary. It was back during the freeze of 2021 when Alaina randomly decided to check her dating app… that’s when it all started. They met up for their first date and the rest is history! 

 

Alaina and Dan love going to Colorado together. They were on a trip together in Estes Park when Dan decided to pop the question. He hired a photographer and got down on one knee with the gorgeous, Rocky Moutains behind them. Their photographer captured it all! The reaction and the beauty of their favorite place together. It was perfect!

 

While they both live in Houston, Alaina is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana! They chose to get married in her hometown of Baton Rouge and celebrate their marriage with all their friends and family there in March! A few weeks ago, Alaina emailed me about taking some engagement photos in Houston to showcase where they live. Now, once they are married, they’ll have photos from all the places that are special to them!

 

I met up with Alaina and Dan at Hermann Park, one of my favorite places to shoot! We had such a beautiful golden hour throughout our entire session! One thing I love about these two is how Dan knows exactly how to make her laugh; he had her cracking up the entire session! Alaina, you have an amazing smile and your joy is infectious! Congratulations, you two, on your engagement! I know your wedding day will be amazing!
