Challenger Park Maternity Session
The wind gently blew her hair across her face. Jacob, her husband, wrapped his arms around her and nuzzled in close. Their hands clasped around their new baby boy on the way and their minds drifted to their new son. What he’ll look like. What he’ll be like. What his interests and hobbies will be. Any day now, their lives will change forever. They will have a new, sweet, beautiful little boy to snuggle and love on. We. Can’t. Wait.
I have loved watching my sister become a mother. She is amazing and such a rockstar at raising two little boys. I’m just in awe of everything she and Jacob have done and how sweet their boys are growing up to be. We were so afraid these photos may not happen with all the rain Houston has been getting lately. We’ve already had to reschedule the session for rain and then baby boy decided he might come early so time was of the essence. I told Jenna, “rain or shine, we are getting these photos!” and I packed our clear umbrellas just in case. It sprinkled on the way there but I wasn’t worried. I made it a mission to get Jenna beautiful maternity and family photos so she can remember this sweet time of their life. But then we started their session and the clouds and the wind brought all the romantic magic. I am just in love with these sweet photos!
All throughout the session, Jackson and Jude kept picking wildflowers and bringing them to Jenna. It was the sweetest thing. One flower at a time, she began collecting a little bouquet of wildflowers. That was until Uncle Michael (a.k.a. “Big Mike”) showed Jackson that he could pick TWO flowers at a time. That just blew Jackson’s mind. And speaking of Jackson, he and Jude are the sweetest little boys. I just love how they love each other. Just wait until you see the photos of them together. It will melt your heart! Jenna and Jacob, we love you so much and we can’t wait to meet your new little bundle of joy!
A huge shoutout to Grandma for helping to get the picture on the right!!
This is just the sweetest! We asked them where the baby was and they both wanted to kiss and love on their baby brother.
