Meet Sydne and Matt! Sydne found us through one of our favorite wedding planners, Hannah Hester from Loose Ends Event Design! When she reached out to me, I knew right away they were going to be amazing to work with!

We met Sydne and Matt at Eleanor Tinsley park for their engagement session.  It’s hard to believe this beautiful park is so close to Downtown Houston! Sydne and Matt love going to parks so this was the perfect location. And speaking of perfect, we had the most perfect light the entire time! It still can’t get over how glowy their portraits are.

Sydne and Matt met back in 2012 while attending college at Tulane. They were both studying to go into the medical field so they shared a few classes together. After spending time together through mutual friends, they began dating a few years later!

When it came time for Sydne to graduate, they had a graduation party put together at her aunt’s house. While there, Matt had made a speech for Sydne and ended it in the most amazing way…by asking her to be his wife. Matt proposed with all of her family there to witness and it could not have been any sweeter! Now these two are planning the most beautiful wedding in October at Hughes Manor, complete with a string quartet who will be playing “Singing in the Rain”, a song Sydne used to dance to when she was little.

Sydne and Matt, we absolutely loved getting to know you at your engagement session. You are both so kind and tenderhearted with a huge passion for caring for other people.
