A Spring Hermann Park Engagement Session

As soon as I read Magda’s inquiry email, I knew we would be the perfect fit! She and Greg are second generation Polish and are planning a wedding full of Polish traditions! We instantly connected as my family also has Polish ancestors! I just loved reading through her emails as she shared about her family history. It was truly amazing!

Magda grew up in Houston and went to Medical School in Poland for six years. In 2016, when she returned to Houston, she met Greg at Our Lady of Częstochowa Catholic Church. Now they’re planning the most special wedding day there! This church is not only special to them because it’s where they met, but it’s also where Magda’s parents met and were married! Their wedding day will be steeped in family history which just makes everything that much more special.

In Magda’s email to me, she mentioned that photography is one of the most important things to her and Greg. They’d been searching high and low for the perfect photographer for their wedding day and we are beyond honored that they chose us!

A Spring Hermann Park Engagement Session

We met up with Magda and Greg at Hermann Park on a Tuesday for their engagement session! This was rare for us because we generally have to schedule sessions on the weekends. It felt like we had the park to ourselves which was just amazing to me!

The night before their session, a strong line of thunderstorms blew through bringing hail and strong winds but it cleared out just in time for their session. We had the most beautiful, dreamy light the entire evening!
