Meet Rhonda and Manuel! These two met in their 11th grade Chemistry class and needless to say…their own chemistry was noteworthy! They began dating and have been together ever since! In Rhonda’s own words, he’s her person. These high school sweethearts are now engaged and are planning a dream destination wedding! They just came back from the Dominican Republic last week and now have their eyes set on getting married there!

 

I met up with Rhonda and Manuel at the Mercer Botanical Gardens in Houston, Tx. It’s been a couple of years since I last photographed here and I loved every minute of it! I couldn’t believe how many flowers were in bloom and how vibrant they were! The overcast skies really worked in our favor as it made the all flowers really stand out. Rhonda herself loves to garden so this was perfect for her! I’m already dreaming of getting to come back here. 

 

A few months ago, they planned a last minute trip to Cancun for Manuel’s birthday. Unbeknownst to Rhonda, he had something even bigger planned up his sleeve. On his actually birthday, Manuel got down on one knee and asked Rhonda to marry him. It was the easiest “yes” for her!
