Meet Katie and Brandon! Oh, we had such a great time photographing these two at their engagement session! We met up with Katie and Brandon at the Memorial Park Eastern Glades. I really love shooting here. It photographs like a dream and there are so many great photo spots! I challenged myself to find a new perspective and, in the end, I found myself standing far away with my zoom lens, backed up into the overgrown grass and shooting through low-lying branches, all the while yelling, “it’s so pretty!!!” And it was. It was an absolutely gorgeous session!

 

Katie and Brandon are such a joy to be around. Our conversations just flowed so naturally! I could have photographed Katie and Brandon all day long. If their wedding day is anything like their engagement session, it’s going to be a great day!! Speaking of which, Katie and Brandon are getting married in May! They’ll be saying their vows at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church before dancing the night away at the beautiful Springs in Cypress!

 

It’s amazing to think that just six months ago, Brandon was getting down on one knee and proposing to his sweet bride, Katie. During our session here, we actually got to witness a proposal happen! It brought back such sweet memories for them. Brandon proposed to Katie back in February. It was a cold and rainy day and they were taking a walk through the magical oak trees of North Boulevard. They were huddled together underneath a single clear umbrella when Brandon dropped down to his knee and asked her to marry him!
