A Lavender Springs at Wallisville Wedding

Introducing the new Mr. and Mrs. Howard!! Austin and Andrea tied the knot last weekend and had the most beautiful, lavender wedding at the Springs in Wallisville! Everything was impeccably done. There was greenery everywhere…cascading down the banister of the grand staircase, climbing up the floor-to-ceiling cathedral window…it was just breathtaking!

Austin and Andrea really had such a beautiful day. The weather, the people, the emotions, the family… it was all so special. The most special part of the day was during their first touch when they shared their own personal vows. I was tearing up listening to them both struggle to get through their vows. They both seem so equally grateful and thankful to be each other’s person! This day was worth waiting for! After a short, 15-second rain shower, we had perfect cloud coverage all day which created the best lighting for their ceremony and portraits! It was truly a dream!

I have loved getting to photograph these two along their journey – from their engagement session, to Andrea’s bridal session (I cannot wait to share those soon!!), all the wait to their wedding day! Austin and Andrea chose to share a first “touch” instead of a first look! They held hands, back to back and read their private vows to each other without seeing each other! This was such a sweet and emotional part of their day. I know they will remember it for the rest of their lives!
