A Lakeside Country Club Wedding

Madeline and Jay are married!! They’re officially Mr. & Mrs. Harper. This day could not have been more beautiful. From dreamy, golden hour portraits by the lake to the most classic shade of blue…I could have photographed everything forever!

When Madeline and Jay were planning their wedding, they knew they wanted to get married at their church, St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. They opted for an evening ceremony at 7pm which meant all their first look and portraits happened at the start of golden hour. What a dream!! The way the sun sets over the lake at the country club is just so beautiful.

They had their first look on the back patio of the country club overlooking the lake and it was just so peaceful. Nobody was around except the two of them (and their photographers!). They shared the sweetest moment together while nestled in the serenity of the sunset.

Madeline is a kindergarten teacher with the biggest heart! She invited a few of her students to come to the ceremony and watch her get married. I loved seeing them all sitting together in the front row! Afterwards, they ran over to her and gave her the biggest hug. It was such a special moment for everyone!
