A Houston Museum District Engagement Session | Houston, Tx

Meet Kaitlyn and Jason! Their engagement session on Sunday almost didn’t happen! The forecast was not looking good and we were close to rescheduling due to rain. Thankfully, the majority of the rain passed over just in time for their session to start! It was actually quite perfect…it didn’t rain at all until we were driving to our second location. A small rain shower came through so we just waited in our cars for a few minutes for it to clear out. Then we had an amazing ending to our day!

Kaitlyn and Jason have been dating for seven years! They met while attending college at Texas A&M. At the time, they were on the same degree path and even had a couple classes together. Fast forward to this past March. They were on a cruise together with their family to celebrate Kaitlyn passing the Bar exam when Jason got down on one knee (in front of them all!) and asked her to marry him! Now they are planning a beautiful wedding day at Arrowhead Hill next November!

When we were planning their engagement session, Kaitlyn was wanting to go somewhere in the Houston museum district. She loved the nature aspect of North Boulevard and also wanted to find somewhere with a classic, old, city/downtown feel. We landed on St. Paul’s United Methodist Church! The architecture here is just amazing! The arched doorways were so interesting and fun to photograph. It really felt like we had been transported to Europe! It was perfect for the look they were going for.
