A Dusty Blue Mansion at Colovista Wedding | Bastrop, Tx

Introducing the new Mr. and Mrs. Santos!! Krista and Logan had such a beautiful wedding day at the Mansion at Colovista! I just love these two. As soon as I walked into the bridal suite, Krista yelled out my name, gave me the biggest hug and even gave my baby bump a sweet greeting! Krista is so full of joy and energy- you just can’t help but smile when you’re around her! And the entire day was like that! I’ve never seen two people spend their entire day in such overwhelming joy and happiness! It’s clear that these two are made for each other. Krista even said after their first date that she’d either just met her new best friend, or the one she was going to marry. Little did she know then, Logan would turn out to be both!

Krista and Logan share a love for Taylor Swift. She walked down the aisle to Taylor Swift and their first dance was “Lover” by Taylor Swift. But little did Krista know, Logan had a big surprise up his sleeve. Right after their toasts, he surprised her with a flash mob dance to Taylor Swift’s “Shake it Off”! Their bridal party and friends joined in the dance and Krista was completely shocked! It was the perfect way to kick off their reception!

This was my first time shooting at the Mansion at Colovista and I have to say- I loved every square inch of this venue! As soon as you walk inside, you’re stopped dead in your tracks by an amazing, white spiral staircase. It was made for portraits!! Krista is a photographer and picked this venue with photography and portraits in mind! I just love that! There’s nothing I love more than white walls and big, beautiful windows! Except for an amazing golden hour portrait location- which was at the neighboring golf course!

When it came time for their bride and groom portraits, we took some golf carts out for a quick, fun ride to the 15th hole where we had views for days! Because Krista is a photographer, she will do anything for great portraits- and I mean anything! This girl hiked around the golf course going up and down steep hills in heels to get to the best spot! And it paid off big time. Krista and Logan now have the dreamiest golden hour portraits to hang on their walls for years and years to come!
