A Black Tie Stables on the Brazos Wedding
Introducing the new Mr. and Mrs. Hooks!! Kayla and Mason had the most beautiful black tie wedding at the Stables on the Brazos this past Saturday! Everything was so classy and timeless. Kayla loves black and white and it made for such a beautiful color palette for their wedding day! They planned everything so intentionally from the venue to the details! And speaking of details, Kayla had so many personal touches! She wore her grandmothers earrings and an heirloom bracelet! But perhaps the most special detail was her second wedding band. Before the wedding day, Kayla’s mom had her own wedding rings unsoldered and had given Kayla her wedding band. What a beautiful and sentimental gift!
Leading up to the wedding day, there was a high percentage of rain forecasted and they weren’t sure if they would be able to have their ceremony outdoors as planned. But as luck would have it, all the rain passed through in the morning and we didn’t have any rain all day! They were able to have their ceremony and all their portraits outside. It was a dream!
As beautiful as the portraits from this wedding day are, nothing compares to the beauty in the hearts of Kayla and Mason. During the toasts portion of the reception, Kayla stood before everyone in the room and dedicated her bouquet to her mom. I teared up listening to Kayla share how much she loves and admires her mom. It was so sweet!
