A Backyard Garden Wedding | Houston, TX

As soon as we walked into the house, we were met with the biggest and warmest greeting! It was the first time I’d met Brittany’s mom Terasa, but she said she felt like she already knew me. Because we share so much of our life on social media, our brides and their friends and family really get to know us! Brittany told us how much she loves our baby James and that she shows all my instagram stories of him to all her friends at work. I just love this! Michael and I love creating genuine relationships with our couples. We want them to feel like a trusted friend is showing up on their wedding day and not just the photographer they hired! 

We just love Brittany and Alex. They have been through so much together as a couple, yet nothing could tear them apart. During Alex’s vows, he mentioned how they’ve been through a long distance relationship, cross-country moves, a major medical diagnosis, and now a global pandemic causing them to postpone and change all their wedding plans. And even though the world around us is so uncertain, one thing remains true- they were meant for each other. Brittany and Alex have faced incredible odds throughout the relationship yet their love and loyalty toward one another has never wavered. 

Brittany and Alex may not have had the wedding they originally planned, but it turned out to be the most perfect and magical backyard wedding of their dreams. Brittany’s parents turned their house into a wedding venue with string lights in the backyard and a reception under the stars. Brittany got dressed in her childhood bedroom and created memories to last a lifetime.
