Fall Hermann Park Engagement Session

They met in college. He played the sax, she played the flute. They went to the Sam Houston statue for their first date, but little did they know, Sam Houston would play a huge part in their love story.  On February 4th, they went back to the statue and as Malorie turned the corner, she found their friends and family anxiously waiting to see her face as Chris got down on one knee and asked her the most important question of her life. To be his wife. To be the woman with whom he would spend and share the rest of his life. It was the sweetest and most romantic moment.

When we met Chris and Malorie at Hermann Park, we knew we had to get a photo with Sam Houston. It just made the entire session that much sweeter remembering that special moment where they became engaged. Malorie was a show stopper in her gorgeous blue dress. The color popped against the trees and sidewalks and her blond hair was glowing in the sunlight. But that glow didn’t compare to the one in her eyes as she gazed and smiled at Chris, her soon to be husband.

Malorie brought the perfect fall blanket for their photos! They draped it around their shoulders and snuggled in the Texas fall weather for the sweetest photos. Later on, Malorie and Chris actually laid down on the ground for the most epic overhead photo! It may have been tricky for Malorie to get down on the ground wearing a dress but it was so worth it! You would think that they were models.  But they’re actually two people with music education degrees, teaching music and molding the future of our society. They are just amazing!
