A Jordanian Hyatt Regency Wedding

Laith and Nedaa are MARRIED!!  They had to postpone their wedding for a week but everything just fell into place so perfectly!  When I arrived at the bridal suite, it was like walking into a photographers dream!  Nedaa had all of her details laid out for me; her dress was already hanging, and they had even moved a couch away from the window, so I had room to photograph all her gorgeous details with the window light.  Nedaa had the most beautiful veil I’ve ever seen.  It was all hand beaded and took 48 hours to create.  As she was getting ready and putting on her veil, I just couldn’t get over how gorgeous it was.

Both Nedaa’s and Laith’s families flew in from Jordan for their wedding but due to hurricane Harvey, they all got stuck in different states until the Houston airports were open again.  And speaking of family, Michael and I were treated just like we were part of their family the entire day!  One of Nedaa’s sisters brought me pizza while I was shooting bridal details, and Laith’s mother couldn’t  resist dancing with both of us at the wedding! We just love her!

This was our first time shooting a Jordanian wedding, and we gotta say…we’re hooked.   We loved every minute of their wedding day! When Laith and Nedaa entered the ballroom followed by a group of drummers, Michael turned to me and pretty much yelled, “THIS IS SO COOL!!!”  And it was.  It was the most amazing wedding entrance we’ve ever seen!  Then, the dancing began, and it got even more amazing.  These guys really know how to dance! It was so fun watching everyone celebrating their marriage together, and we absolutely loved being a part of it.
