A Southern House Plantation Wedding in Hockey, Tx
As soon as we met Mari- Beth and Brian at their engagement session, we knew their wedding day was going to be amazing. What we didn’t know, was just HOW amazing it was going to be! Everything was so beautiful from the gorgeous House Plantation venue to the pink peonies in the bouquet.
During the ceremony, Mari-Beth and Brian read their own vows that they wrote to each other and it was perfect. Everything was from the heart and captured the essence of their personality perfectly! The whole day, Michael and I felt so welcomed by Mari-Beth and Brian’s families that we actually felt like we were family! One thing I absolutely loved was the pin tradition in Mari-Beth’s family. They have a pin that has been worn on all the women in their family for 150 years!! Watching Mari-Beth’s aunt pinning it on her was so neat. I loved getting to document that piece of their family history! And speaking of family history, Mari-Beth, her mom and sister made their family recipe jam as favors for every one of their guest.
This family is full of good singers! During the reception, Mari-Beth’s sister, Addie, sang to her during her toast and at the end of the night, her brother also sang to her! We are so excited to be sharing this gorgeous wedding with you. You’re going to love this one!
