A North Boulevard Oaks Houston Engagement Session
Meet McKenna and Riley! They are newly engaged and getting married in October! When I met them on our zoom consultation, I knew that they were going to be amazing to work with. They are so easy to talk to and have such a great, positive outlook on life!
Â
Throughout their dating tenure, Riley had been wanting to share the charm of Charleston with McKenna. He would often talk about how pretty it was and how much she would love it. When they finally went there together, it rained the whole time!
Â
Fast forward to the proposal. Riley knew he wanted to do it in Charleston so when they traveled out there again (hoping for a better experience with the weather) he had everything planned. But as chance would have it, it rained again! When there was a small, 15 minute break in the rain, Riley pulled McKenna outside and asked her to marry him. After she said yes, her family revealed themselves in the parking lot! They had flown from Houston to be there to celebrate with them! Riley and McKenna couldn’t care less that it was raining. Even though the weather was less than perfect, it was a perfect moment for them.Â
Â
Riley and McKenna chose North Boulevard for their engagement session because it reminded them of Charleston. These sprawling oak trees and one of a kind houses are truly unique! They even chose their outfits with Charleston in mind- east coast for the first outfit, and southern for the second (complete with cowboy hats!)
Â
I hope you enjoy scrolling through these few favorites of mine from their session! I had so much fun photographing them and looking for new points of view at this location. Riley and McKenna, we can’t wait to photograph you again on your wedding day!Â
