A North Boulevard Oaks Engagement Session

Meet Maddie and Austin! These two Aggies met online a couple of years ago and have been inseparable ever since! When I met Maddie on our zoom consultation, we clicked instantly and I knew they were going to be amazing to work with! Michael and I absolutely loved our time with them at their engagement session!

We met up at the ever beautiful, ever majestic North Boulevard oaks. I never get tired of looking at these spiraling trees! The way they arch perfectly over the walkway creates such an amazing and satisfying composition.

Oak trees actually play a role in their proposal story! Austin proposed to Maddie underneath the famed century tree on campus at Texas A&M. I loved their proposal story. Maddie had no idea that when she saw the saber arch formed by Austin’s fellow cadet members, that she was walking up to her own proposal! She actually thought it was meant for someone else until she saw the familiar faces of their friends and family members… and it dawned on her. This was for her. After leading Maddie through the saber arch and underneath the century tree, Austin got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!

Now they’re planning a beautiful wedding together at the Stables on the Brazos for October of next year! Maddie rides horses competitively so considering this, the idea of a former stable turned wedding venue couldn’t be more perfect! Both of them instantly fell in love with this venue upon touring and they knew right away it was where they wanted to tie the knot.
