Oh where do I even start with these two?? Bashar and Rhonya are two of the sweetest, most kindhearted people we’ve ever met and photographing their wedding day was an absolute honor! From the moment I walked into Rhonya’s hotel suite, I was met with so much love from her and her family. We photographed her sister’s wedding a few years ago and it was so special getting to see and catch up with her! 

 

I had been looking forward to their wedding day ever since we booked them earlier this year. I always send out a wedding day questionnaire to my clients a few weeks prior to the wedding day to gather details and vendor information, and when I read hers, I got even more excited! She had noted in her questionnaire that her wedding dress was custom made in Turkey!! I could not wait to see it!! Rhonya had flown to Turkey, sat down with a designer and had her dress custom made. How amazing it that?! And you guys…it was breathtaking. It was covered in the most intricate beading and sparkled in the sunlight. It also weighed a solid 40lbs! To top it off, her turban and veil were also handmade with custom beading! Rhonya, you are such a stunning bride!! 

 

The energy on their dance floor was unmatched. The music, the drums, the dancing…everything was so exciting! They even threw Bashar up in the air. (Just wait till you see that photo!) You couldn’t help but smile the entire night.
