Bridal Portraits at the Mansion at ColoVista

Now that Laurel is married, I can finally share her gorgeous bridal portraits!! (You can view their wedding blog post here!)

Laurel has such a neat wedding dress story! She had a dream of finding her dress at Kleinfeld in Manhattan, NY…and that’s exactly what she did. Laurel flew to New York with her mom and future mother-in-law and went to Kleinfeld Bridal. Not only did she find the perfect dress, but the designer himself, Randy Fenoli was at the store that day and had personally helped find Laurel the perfect dress from his own collection! She stood on the pedastal in front of the mirror with Randy Fenoli at her side when he asked her those famous words: “Laurel, are you saying yes to the dress?!” It was by far her favorite moment from her whole wedding planning experience!

We met at The Mansion in ColoVista for her bridal session, a country club set in the hill country of Bastrop, Tx. (This was also her and Logan’s wedding venue!) I always love getting to photograph here. The sweeping, spiral staircase is such a showstopper and made for some beautiful portraits! In fact, the image Laurel chose to print as her framed enlargement was taken in front of these stairs. We took a mix of indoor and outdoor portraits and talked about what it was like to go to Kleinfeld!
