Ashton Gardens West Bridal Portraits

Jessica and John are married and on their honeymoon which means I can finally share her Ashton Gardens West bridal portraits! In case you missed their wedding blog post, you can view that here! 

I met Jessica at her absolutely gorgeous venue, Ashton Gardens West. There are two Ashton Gardens locations in Houston and this was my first time coming to the West (Katy) location! And I have to say…it did not disappoint! If you’ve never been to Ashton Gardens before, it has the most beautiful natural light! The chapel itself has that indoor/outdoor feeling because of all the huge windows! 

When Jessica and John were venue shopping, they toured several different places. But when they came to Ashton Gardens West, they walked in the chapel, heard Divisi Strings playing and knew right then and there that this was where they were going to get married. They even hired Divisi Strings to play at their ceremony! It was exactly what they were looking for!

We spent the afternoon taking portraits in all the amazing photo locations inside and outside of her venue. I have to hand it to Jessica…it was brutally hot! It felt like 100 degrees outside but she somehow managed to look absolutely flawless, even when it felt like we were melting! Jessica remained poised and posed with such grace and elegance in the intense heat and it paid off big time!! The portraits we took outside in the courtyard ended up being both of our favorites!! It may have had incredible heat, but it also had incredible light! Jessica was glowing!
