A Deep in the Heart Farms Wedding

I’m about to introduce you to two of the nicest, most kind hearted people on the planet…Katie and Matt. I first met Katie a few years ago when she was a bridesmaid in a wedding we were photographing. When she reached out to us to photograph her own wedding, we were elated! She and Matt were married on Sunday at Deep in the Heart Farms in Brenham and oh my…it was gorgeous!! The dusty blue color palette and white sunflowers were the perfect combination!

Katie and Matt were an absolute dream to work with. They were so relaxed and easy-going all day long and were up for anything when it came to their photos! Michael and I fell in love with these two during their engagement session. We have been so blessed in our business to work with such amazing couples. And amazing brides have amazing friends! Katie’s bridesmaids were all so incredibly sweet…and two of them were past JK brides!! It was so fun getting to see these sweet girls again after their wedding days.

Before the ceremony, Katie and Matt chose to say a prayer together, holding hands but without seeing each other. We brought Matt up into the bridal suite and they had the sweetest moment together as they prayed for their marriage. And less than an hour later, when the double doors of the chapel opened and Matt saw her for the first time, he could not hold the tears in any longer. 

Katie and Matt, you both have been such a joy to work with. We have loved getting to know your sweet friends and families and loved getting to celebrate with you all! I hope you’re enjoying the most relaxing and well deserved honeymoon in Tennessee! Enjoy reliving your amazing wedding day!
