Hi there! I'm Joanna Krueger and my husband Michael and I are a wedding photography team in Houston, TX. We hope you enjoy viewing our latest work and getting a peek into our lives!
Meet Mallory and Chris!! We met up with them at the Eastern Glades in Memorial Park…where they got engaged! It was so sweet to go back to the place where Chris proposed. This place will always hold a special place in their hearts, especially now that we took their engagement photos here!
When Mallory and Chris were walking up to us at the park, Mallory shouted my name and gave me the biggest wave! She was so excited!! She even emailed me the night before saying she felt like a kid the night before Christmas. How sweet is that?! Mallory was bursting with joy and I loved every minute of it!
When people question whether or not they need an engagement session, we always tell them, yes!! You do! It’s the best way for us to get to know each other before the wedding day. We cherish the time we spend with our couples during their session and Mallory and Chris’s session was no different. We loved getting to know these two during their engagement session! Mallory has the best smile and Chris knows exactly how to make her laugh!
Chris and Mallory met on a dating app but it turns out, he actually grew up with her college best friend! They had their very first date at Union Kitchen and on the day Chris proposed, he took her back there for brunch. Afterwards, they went to the Eastern Glades in Memorial Park where he got down on one knee and asked Mallory to spend forever with him. Coming back here for their session brought back the sweetest memories!
We had the most amazing light during the entire session. It was a photographers dream! The way the light peeked through the trees and reflected off the pavement was magical! You wouldn’t know it by looking at these photos, but the park was full of families, dogs and high school students taking homecoming dance photos. We had to wait our turn to use some locations but it was worth the wait! If you know Mallory, you know she loves dogs! She and Chris have two dogs themselves! Mallory was in Heaven seeing all the dogs during their session. One even swam up to them while we were shooting by the water!
Congratulations Mallory and Chris! We can’t wait to photograph you again on your wedding day!! Enjoy reliving your engagement session!
