As soon as we announced that we were offering portrait sessions, Katlyn emailed us to set up a family session! Katlyn is also a photographer in the Houston area and has been following us for quite a while! She said it was her dream to have us photograph her family and was beyond excited when we started offering family sessions. It’s always a huge honor to photograph other photographers, and especially their families!

We all know how hard it is coordinating outfits for family photos- but Katlyn totally nailed it!! She found the most beautiful, and most twirly dresses for them to wear! I’m pretty sure Felicity, her youngest daughter, would wear this dress every single day just to twirl! Hah! And can we just take a moment to say how cute Joshua is in his little bowtie?? Maybe it’s because I’m now a boy mom, but it was just the cutest! 

I think I told Katlyn 20 times during their session how amazing their family was. Not only are her girls great listeners, but they are so sweet with one another. It’s clear that they have been taught how to love and treat one another with love, kindness and gentleness. Avonlea is such a great big sister! I loved watching her help her brother get into place for pictures and hold onto him to help him stay put.
