Hermann Park Engagement Session | Houston, Tx

Meet Michelle and Tyler!! We had an absolute blast with these two at their engagement session! We rescheduled their original session date because of rain, and of course, as we were driving to their session, rain clouds started rolling in. I immediately asked Michael to check the radar because rain was not in the forecast! During the first half of their session, the sky was slowly getting very dark, and I was so sure we’d have to run for cover! But Michelle and Tyler were un-phased. They weren’t concerned at all. Even when the thunder started rolling, Michelle just kept smiling and having a blast taking photos with Tyler. Thankfully, the storm just missed us, and we even got a little bit of sun at the end!

Michelle radiates joy. Her positive energy is so contagious, and you just can’t help but smile when you’re around her! I’m pretty sure we laughed and smiled the entire session. Michelle is actually the sister of one of our grooms whose getting married in December! I absolutely love with we get to photograph the weddings of siblings. It’s so special!

According to Michelle, Tyler loves fishing more than anything in the world. They were out working at a family ranch, and before they could be done for the day, Tyler had to go fishing. After they fished for a while, Tyler called Michelle over to “help get out a hook”. She came over, and Tyler proposed with a fish in one hand and a ring in the other. Tyler can’t help but laugh that a fish was involved in their proposal! Of course, Michelle said, “yes!” and he surprised her with all their friends and family back at the ranch. It was the perfect proposal and fits exactly who they are as a couple. Michelle even brought along the fishing lure that Tyler used in the proposal for ring shots at their session!

The fishing lure from the proposal!
