Hermann Park Engagement Session | Houston, Tx

Meet Haley and Will!! Haley contacted us just last week (after only being engaged for a week!) about their wedding in January and we could not be more excited for them!! I’ve known Haley’s grandparents for years. Her grandfather, Dee Bowman, preaches at the Southside Church of Christ (where I attended during college) and he lead a prayer at our wedding! And now, we get to photograph his sweet granddaughters wedding next year!

Since Will lives in California and was in town for the weekend, it was the perfect opportunity to get their engagement photos taken! We met up with them at Hermann Park and this time, we had an extra little person in tow! James came along to their session!!

Haley and Will first met a few years ago through mutual friends. They all went to dinner together but Haley and Will only spoke five words to each other! A few years later, they reconnected online. Will began messaging Haley about her photos from a family trip to Ireland. And just a couple months later, Will came to Texas to visit her! It wasn’t long after that they officially began dating.

Fast forward to a couple weeks ago. Will took Haley fishing and told her to sit down and look out at the lake so he could “take some pictures of her”. Little did Haley know, he was getting ready to ask her the most important question of her life. Will told Haley turned around and when she did, he was down on one knee!
