I have known Patrick and Amanda for several years now.  We all went to University of Houston together (go coogs!) and majored in music education around the same time.  So at some point, we were in the same classes together.  Patrick is a tuba player and is teaching middle school band, and Amanda is a singer teaching middle school choir.  So needless to say, we have much in common!

When Amanda came to us to shoot their wedding we were so excited! We love shooting weddings, but when it’s people that you know, it is just extra special.  That’s one of my favorite parts about shooting weddings.  Getting to be a part of your friends big day in such a special way…I LOVE it.  Their ceremony was beautiful.  Amanda was led down the aisle with her father on one arm and her grandfather on the other arm.  It was such an amazing moment.  Watching Patrick seeing his bride in all her beauty walking down the aisle was definitely one of my favorite moments of their wedding day.  I may have gotten something in my eye during this point.
