Hi there! I'm Joanna Krueger and my husband Michael and I are a wedding photography team in Houston, TX. We hope you enjoy viewing our latest work and getting a peek into our lives!
The windows filled the room with the softest light and brought your eyes up to the old, 1850’s barn beams. From the back of the room, a harpist began to play “Here Comes the Bride” and the two, huge barn doors swung opened letting in a powerful amount of light. There, standing in the middle of all the glow was Christina, the bride. Arm linked with her father, she slowly began to walk across the room and down the aisle to the love of her life, Aaron. As the softest, sweetest music played, Christina and Aaron locked eyes with each other. The moment they had been waiting for their entire lives was finally here! And it was more powerful than the could ever imagine!
As soon as Michael and I arrived at the venue, we were greeted with open arms by all the bridesmaids, the mothers of the bride and groom, and Christina. They were all so excited that we were there! They were raving about Christina and Aaron’s engagement photos and were so excited for us to be there on their wedding day that they kept asking each other “when are the photographers arriving?! It was such an incredibly warm welcome!! These girls are so sweet! They had all been following our journey and already knew so much about us- that Michael is a band director by day (wedding photographer by weekend!), that I used to teach elementary music, and they even knew that we blogged everything and were already anticipating to see the blog post from today! I just loved that! I knew from that moment that this was going to be an amazing wedding day! We absolutely loved being around these sweet girls all day long!
Christina had some pretty amazing details. Her mother, Sue, made her veil using lace from her Grandmothers wedding veil! (How amazing is that?) Sue even had one of her friends sew together the most delicate hanger for her wedding dress complete with their names and wedding date. It was the perfect touch! Christina and Aaron, thank you so much for bringing us into your lives and giving us the honor of documenting your wedding day. It was truly a perfect day! Enjoy these few favorites from your wedding! There are so many more to come!
